Ambitiouz Ent Reacts To Emtee’s Debut Album ‘Avery’ Trending. Emtee fans are still loving the rapper’s debut album Avery which was released under his former label, Ambitiouz Entertainment. To this day, fans are still talking about Avery. The album was named after the rapper’s firstborn son, Avery. It is hard not to, the album consists of some of Emtee’s most played tracks. The album was released in 2015 and his project put him on the SA Hip Hop map and solidified his position in the game. Emtee may no longer be with the label but they did create magic together.

The album recently trended on social media after Emtee asked his fans to pick their fighter from his four albums, Avery, Manado, DIY 2 and Logan. Avery was certainly a firm favourite and the trends showed and even Ambitiouz Ent caught wind of the traction. The label is known to be very interactive on social media, especially the Twitter streets and reflected that six years later the album is trending. Ambitiouz Ent remarked that Avery is here to save SA Hip Hop, which is a very bold statement. Avery certainly has hits that shock up the scenes with hits like Pearl Thusi, Roll-Up, Ngeke, We Up and Roll-UP Re-Up.

“6 years later and Avery is Trending to come back and save SA Hip Hop.” tweeted the label. The rapper’s split from the label was not an amicable one and it all played out in the public space. During his time at the label, Emtee released some of his best work and certainly collected accolades for it. Avery garnered two awards, one for Best Hip Hop Album and the other for Best Rap Album. The label and Emtee’s tug of war for those awards is yet another in their history book. Avery was has been certified platinum, it reached the certification with 7 months of its release.

Emtee released two solid projects under the label, Manado being the second. The rapper, last year revealed that he’s not getting money for the albums. In response to a fan, Emtee revealed that he gets no streaming money for Avery and Manado. “Trust me. Forget about it cos you know the sales n stream money is not coming to me.” He even previously slammed the record label on social media and asked them publicly where his money is. “You still haven’t given me the album sales for Avery @Ambitiouz_Ent. Album sold platinum. That’s all we know. Where’s guap for it?” Emtee tweeted.
