The Korean Business Research Institute has revealed this month’s brand reputation rankings for girl groups!
The rankings were determined through an analysis of the consumer participation, media coverage, interaction, and community indexes of various girl groups, using big data collected from July 15 to August 15.
BLACKPINK rose to the top of the list this month with a brand reputation index of 3,243,108 for August. High-ranking phrases in the group’s keyword analysis included “BLACKPINK: The Movie,” “Oricon,” and “Jennie,” while their highest-ranking related terms included “record,” “release,” and “showing.” BLACKPINK’s positivity-negativity analysis revealed a score of 81.93 percent positive reactions.
Rookie girl group aespa took second place in this month’s rankings with a brand reputation index of 2,708,017.
Finally, Red Velvet rose to third place for August with a brand reputation index of 2,493,441, marking an 11.99 percent rise in their score since July.
