Big Xhosa Reacts To 500k YouTube Views On ‘Amasende.’ After releasing a diss track directed at South African hip hop artist, fast rising rapper, Big Xhosa, never stopped to stamp his existence in the hip hop game. The artist went on and dropped a banger dubbed ‘Amasende’ that went all the way and become a national anthem all over Mzansi.
From the lyrics of this song its surprised most hip hop followers why the song hasn’t got a reply yet. Big Xhosa “Amasende” song is a follow-up to the rapper’s previous single “Inyile.” The artist took to social media to celebrate the 500k views on his song that got massive reaction all over Mzansi.
“Amasende just hit 500K views on YouTube, making this my second video to hit over half a million views. Thank you very much Did this independent, less than R200 budget for this video.” He wrote.
Big Xhosa’s rise to fame in the hip hop game had him thanking his fanbase for supporting his craft and contribution in the culture. Writing on his Instagram page, the rapper found time to give much appreciation to his followers for embracing his ideas in the SA hip hop industry.
“I’ve never really took a moment to appreciate and thank you guys for the support you have shown to me. You have changed my life. Ever since I became Big Xhosa I’ve never really struggled for anything financially, I have been able to provide for myself and my loved ones. I’m not rich, nor do I got everything I want, but I am blessed. And I owe all that to the people, it is you guys who discovered me and made me who I am,” he wrote.
The rapper has showed so much inspiration to the well-decorated hip hop artists who have been in the game for a while. Despite calling out some of the rapper on his diss track, the Cathcart (Eastern Cape) rapper took time to respect SA hip hop artists such as AKA, Cassper, KO and Kwesta. “They used to inspire me but now the rapper that I look up to is myself,” he said.
