Nadia Nakai Finally Launches Her New Record Label, ‘Bragga Records’. Nadia Naka, parted ways with Cassper Nyovest’s Family Tree to launch her own record company. The “Money Back” hit maker shared about her departure from Family Tree during an interview with Slikour on SlikourLife. She highlighted that it was time for her to start her own things and map her own music career.
The artist stated that she was eager for the task ahead, but that informing his mentor was not as simple as she had anticipated. “I am no longer with ‘The Tree’. I am working on my own record label. I need to be able to stand on my own. Funny enough, I was actually scared to tell Cass. Even after I told him, I could feel that he was a bit sad, but we are good,” Nadia Nakai shared the first time she broke the news to Cassper.
Now, that ship has sailed and it looks like Bragga is now living the dream. The “Naaa Meaan” chanter took to her social media platforms announcing the birth of her record label ‘Bragga Records’. She gave much gratitude to Cassper Nyovest and Family Tree for every effort they invested in her throughout her hip hop career.
“I’m so excited about the next chapter of my life! Here’s to officially starting my own record label BRAGGA RECORDS. I wouldn’t be able to do this without @Casspernyovest and @familytreeworld THANK YOU for all that you invested in me over the years Bragga Records OFFICIAL, New music loading.” She wrote.
Even though Nadia Nakai left Family Tree, she indicated that Cassper helped her with coming up with name ideas for her new record label expressing that all is well with her former boss. “He gave me some record label name ideas and I was like nooo, we went back and forth…” she said.
Cassper also mentioned that his relationship with Bragga was good despite leaving Family Tree. He also voiced his belief in Nadia Nakai’s ability to succeed with her innovative brand. This came after Cass responded to allegations that there was tension between the two.
“Nah but she left the label and we no longer work together so naturally we won’t hang as much. She’s got a new team and I’m sure she’ll be good cause she always did her own thing anyway.” Cass responded to one Twitter follower who asked about his relationship with Bragga.
