Patricia Bahia, award winning singer/songwriter, released new single “(Say Yes) World With a Little More Love,” on February 12th, 2021. Bahia wrote this song at the Hawaii Songwriting Festival with Ryan Hiraoka and Kristin Lagasse. They wanted to write an upbeat song to help lift people’s spirits and cheer them up, which I think they definitely accomplished.
“(Say Yes) World With a Little More Love” has such a cheerful vibe to it, the music/beat just screams happiness and joy. It immediately puts you in a good mood and your worries are pushed to the back of your mind. Bahia’s voice is fantastic, she has such a good flow to her vocals in this track that it makes you want to sing along with the chorus. I especially love the harmonies and background vocals during the chorus. The lyrics are catchy and inspiring. The lyrics can be taken to heart and are relatable. As you listen to the song it makes you want to go out into the world and be a better person. I really love the line, “Never feel you’re insignificant, Like a tiny little grain of sand, What you do what you say makes a difference,” it gives such a great message to the listener. No matter what you are going through or experiencing, it is so important to remember that you matter, you too are important and you should never feel otherwise. I would highly encourage everyone to listen to “(Say Yes) World With a Little More Love,” it gives a happy message and such a cheerful vibe all throughout.
