Timaya – Cold Outside ft. Buju

Timaya is back on track with an intense effort, alongside the fresh air of the Nigerian music landscape Buju, whose accompanying hooks and back-ups on the record were done rightly.

However, after Timaya dished out his last release which depicts enormous profanity titled, “Eff All Day” featuring Phyno, his long-time collaborator who has been part of his proficient and fan’s most relateable records ever. “Cold Outside“, becomes like a personally drawn-out sword that he uses to hoard himself to safety from whatever is against his successful run in the Nigerian music industry.

Timaya understands that he needs to stay warm to remain relevant, in fighting every sting of obscurity sitting next to his music career.

While Timaya doesn’t give an apology for slowly going stale musically, he owns up to his responsibilities and bears every consequence of his career lifespan. Therefore he puts out such an appealing groove, theming alongside that he cares less about his detractors and doesn’t give them any breathing space as he understands how cold the streets are (the music industry), and has decided to warm himself up gearing towards putting out his best set of performances.

Meanwhile, Buju’s presence makes the record a special duet that basks in captivating moments and wheels out a variety of melodic experiences for every listening ear.

While Buju is special. Even “So Cold Outside” has been amplified by his melodic strength and emo-heroic delivery. Meanwhile, Timaya has developed plans to connect us with his slowly grinding and creeping in dancehall percussions and aura which has to put us together in one piece through this one record, as well as we all sit back ready, to approach and appreciate the magic of this record fully during festivities. Willisbeats production is super.
