On her new track and music video, “On Call,” the R&B songstress, Capitol Records recording artist, Nija, captures the effects of a “recurring, post-last call rendezvous.”
The video was filmed in Los Angeles with the director, Jay R. Weneta (Lil Uzi Vert, Yung Bleu); he also directed the video for her previous single, “Finesse.”
The song was produced by Ambezza (Drake, Future, Tinashe) and Larkin Noir and earned a great deal of praise and critical acclaim upon its release last month.
Nija was born in New Jersey and now resides in Los Angeles. Before she turned 21, she had written many Billboard Top 100 hits and Rolling Stone called her “one of the most sought-after songwriters.”
Now, two years later, the 23-year-old Grammy Award-winning songwriter and artist, Nija, is ready to share her own music with the world.
